Unit 1: Decimals and Integers Post Assessment A Review
Apply computational fluency with decimals (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in both procedural and word problem contexts.
Understand, compare, and order integers using number lines and models.
Perform operations with integers (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Apply order of operations accurately with multi-step problems.
Use and explain the distributive property in both numeric and algebraic expressions.
Calculate measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode, range).
Construct and interpret a box-and-whisker plot to analyze data distributions.
A comprehensive procedural and conceptual refresher for Unit 1 that aligns tightly to SC 7th grade math standards. It’s strongest for DOK 1 & 2 fluency and application practice.

Depth of Knowledge (DOK)
This review supports DOK Levels 1–2 most strongly, with some extension into DOK 3.
DOK 1 (Recall/Skill): Procedural fluency in adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing decimals and integers, applying order of operations.
DOK 2 (Skills & Concepts): Using models and number lines, interpreting box plots, solving word problems, applying distributive property.
DOK 3 (Strategic Thinking): Some word problems and data interpretation tasks push students into reasoning and justifying their process (e.g., baker problem, box plot)
